belated

i meant to document birthday weekend 2005 much sooner, but whatevssss, you get it now instead.

FRIDAY
+flew into ontario to see the ole alma mater. (NERD!!!)
+drove jb insane by following him around like a little puppy all day.
+gossiped with sandy in the psych office and found out that joelle works 80 hours a week and her husband has lymphoma. :(
+walked margaret adorno's dog all over c-mont and totally snooped around her house (way nice with lots of disposable razors in a bowl in the guest bathroom. weird?)
+ate birthday dumplings in rowland heights with nightingale, hochstein, and cole.
+partied with birthday meyer in los feeeeeeeeel-iz. (shut up, i can finally say it right.)
+got drunker at dresden.
+passed out on pico.

SATURDAY
+ate a nummy huge mexican breakfast with mistopher.
+spent two hours in linens 'n' things piling up pillows and then jumping from shelves into said pillows.
+bbq'd, boozed, pool partied, etc. at the sipes' in sherman oaks, oh, and NAPPED. a lot.
+housewarmed in santa monica at the nightingale, hochstein, & grant home. CREEPIEST PARTY EVER - most of the people i didn't really like in college all in one place! wheeee!
+ditched housewarming party for norm's with chris and meet my new best friend, mitch, who gave me orange soda at midnight for my birffffday. best/worst waiter ever. no social skills to speak of, but this only managed to make him more adorable!
+drank more jager.
+passed out on pico.

SUNDAY
+devoured birthday tacos at sky's.
+developed future BRILLIANT business plan a la dave egger's 826 valencia. imagine for a minute: LIQUOR & KITES. store name: let's go fly a kite. or something. you wait, i'll be rich.
+bazaared at fairfax and melrose with cole and nightingale.
+watched christopher hit on sissy spacek's daughter, vie for her number, and leave with only her myspace.
+boys (ben and chris) bought birthday creme brulee and birthday horchata and stole candles from whole foods. an old man sang to me on the patio and my birthday wish came true. boys took me to the movies. boys bought me new music. boys took me to dinner in little ethiopia. boys made me realize i'm living about nine hundred miles too far away.
+passed out on pico.

MONDAY
+went home, the end. :(
